MES Project Manager

Our client, an international industrial group, is looking for an experienced MES Project Manager for an upcoming MES project. In this role, you will work closely with customers to capture their requirements and with our engineering team to provide the right solutions.

Job Description:

- Creating specifications based on customer requirements and guiding the team in their implementation. Overseeing project documentation, testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Participating in and leading project meetings with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Creating work plans in collaboration with project management and actively managing schedules and costs.
- Managing tasks across projects and making progress visible.
- Supporting technical proposals and organizing training for colleagues and customers.

We Expect From You:

- At least 5 years of experience with MES software usage and/or deliveries, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
- Experience in order management, production tracking, quality data management, and production planning and scheduling in pulp and paper processes.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
- Familiarity with interfaces such as Modbus, OPC UA/DA, and Web Services.
- Experience with virtualized systems and various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; knowledge of Finnish and Swedish is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed, mainly within Finland.
- Experience with ERP interfaces and/or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is considered an advantage.
