Job Description:

Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Software Tester to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by applying your extensive knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on system requirements to ensure thorough validation of software functionality and user interfaces.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of project requirements and provide valuable input during the refinement of Features and User Stories.
3. Perform validation and verification of software functionality, ensuring alignment with user needs and industry standards.
4. Utilize test management tools (e.g., DevOps) to effectively track and manage testing activities.
5. Analyze and document test results, investigate issues, and communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.
6. Adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities while maintaining high standards of quality.
7. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights on testing processes and methodologies.
8. Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices and professional development within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
2. Proficiency in creating test cases and test scripts based on system requirements.
3. Ability to perform validation and verification of software functionality and user interfaces.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., DevOps).
6. Experience in providing test input for the refinement of Features and User Stories
7. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
8. Ability to document and communicate test results and issues effectively.
9. Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
10. Proficient in spoken and written English.
11. Previous knowledge/experience in pharmaceutical industry regulations and related software is not required but beneficial (Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is a plus).
12. ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification is preferred.
13. Knowledge of testing mobile devices is an advantage.
14. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing.
