To bring it all to life, the New Business Platform is seeking a strategic senior content designer to leverage our existing research and positioning, and partner with design leaders to map a plan to effectively communicate the value, benefits, and unique offerings of the New Business Platform to our diverse customer base. This Senior Content Designer will have a special blend of understanding content planning and creation, while also being able to work in the day to day of writing and integrating the value proposition of the platform into two projects, Home Improver and Preowned, to better integrate the service offerings. The scope of the consultant services is to assist in As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll partner with other digital content experts to drive strategies and approaches. An important part of this work is creating and shaping a point of view on a new way to engage with customers and businesses. • Understand customer needs and motivation in the area of home furnishing, maintenance and improvement; the benefits of reselling furniture; and the appeal of coordinating many resources for home improvement from one central hub. • Create alignment among internal teams and stakeholders around creative strategies, content creation processes and content planning for future states • A strong understanding of brand and value positioning and the ability to craft compelling copy • Draft a strategic point of view on messaging and content for the platform and align across teams on behalf of the experience design team. • Align the creative strategy to existing value propositions – auditing existing and identifying needed assets (images, types of content, copy) to create a cohesive experience across the platform. • Craft and direct UX copy and content to ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and consistency of brand voice across multiple experiences and products. • In close collaboration with Experience Design Researchers and Product UX Designers, utilize data to inform design and content decisions. • Provide direction and craft mentorship to assist in the development of other Content Designers and others as required. Requirements: Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc Proven content design experience: Demonstrable success in creating user-centric content for products in growth stages and adoption campaigns Flexibility in content style: Skilled at adapting tone and style for different user scenarios, from microcopy to long-form content. Proactive problem-solving: A knack for identifying content gaps and offering thoughtful solutions that align with user and business needs Experience in content strategy with a love of words: You have a passion for digging deep into the details of why and how messaging works and aligning content and processes across teams.
