The customer is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer that wants to be a part of implementing and maintain a robust CI/CD toolchain using the SAFe framework for a global business group in the automotive sector.

We are helping the customer to create a robust and modular CI/CD environment in GitLab and take it to the cloud (AWS). The mission for the team is to enable automatic testing and secure quality for the organizations SW developers and their customers. The team has migrated from Jenkins environment to Gitlab and need to develop environment in GitLab further. The customer will be represented by product owner and architects who works in tight collaboration with the team when prioritizing and refining a development backlog using SAFe as a development process.

Your role
As a part of the CI CD Enablement team, you are expected to build on the product by adding new solutions and features to the CI/CD solution in Gitlab.
Some of the features you will be able to set up:
• Build/Improve the CI/CD solution in Gitlab CI
• Write/Contribute to scripts for automating CI/CD solution/tasks in python
• Build/Contribute to building Unit Testing framework in Python
• Contribute to Improvements in CI/CD solution and supporting scripts
• Take care of GitLab system (Status Check of GitLab runners, debugging pipeline failures, Fixing the issues from CI/CD perspective)
• Contribute to building dashboards for visualization in Grafana
• Build cloud infrastructure in Amazon Web Service
• Use data science for a more refined CI Machine

Your profile
We are looking for someone who:
• Has good programming knowledge in Python
• Has experience in tools such as Git, GitLab, Docker, AWS, Artifactory
• Have a solution-oriented attitude
• Shows experience in CI/CD or similar
• Knowledge about Jenkins, Grafana and Perforce would be a plus

Additional information
The customer is based in Södertälje but assignment is preferably done from Solna in our AFRY office with possibility to work some days from home also (hybrid model)

PI planning is done every 10th week, and sometimes it could be good to be there at customer site in Södertälje
