IT/OT Security Consultant
Location: Remote
⏳ Duration: Initial 3 months (likely extension)
🕒 Allocation: 100%

We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Security Consultant to lead and execute complex security projects for enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware, enterprise networking, security infrastructure, and security incident response in global environments.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead security assessments, architecture reviews, and engineering consulting for IT/OT environments.
✅ Design and implement security solutions, including virtual environments, IDS honeypots, firewalls, routers, and data diodes.
✅ Conduct security architecture reviews following NIST SP800-R82 and ISA99/IEC62443 guidelines.
✅ Perform forensic analysis and incident response for complex security events.
✅ Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
✅ Conduct training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and operations drills.

Required Skills & Experience:
🔹 Extensive experience with VMware ESX/vSphere, Linux/Windows/ESXi environments.
🔹 Strong networking & security knowledge (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
🔹 Solid understanding of Unix fundamentals and automation.
🔹 Proven experience in security incident response and forensic analysis.
🔹 Excellent communication skills and experience conducting technical training.

Preferred Experience:
➕ Previous senior IT/security roles, particularly in industrial automation.
➕ Experience in the utility sector.

Additional Details:
📌 Must be comfortable working across multiple time zones (US, Europe, Australia).
📌 Daily standup at 9:30 AM US Eastern required.
📌 Occasional travel may be needed for team meetings (agreed separately)
📌 Strong English communication skills (B2 level minimum).
