Scrum Master

🔹 For our Client we are looking forScrum Master🔹

The position is based in Poland and will be working remotely in a global environment. We also expect 2 weeks onboarding in Copenhagen and travel to Copenhagen twice a year + 2-3 times per year for 1-2 days to Warsaw or Poland as an offsite.

✔️The Position:
As an experienced Scrum Master, you will facilitate, coach, and support 1-2 tech product teams comprising developers and engineers. These teams work with a range of data platforms, services, and use cases that support stakeholders across the whole organization. You’ll also be a part of a team of Scrum Masters, working with the GD&AI Platform Engineering leadership team on department and strategic planning.

This role involves working both independently and in close collaboration with product team members, Product Owners, users, stakeholders, other Scrum Masters, and People Leaders.

✔️Your tasks include:

• Facilitating all Scrum events for your product team/s (i.e. sprint planning, daily scrum, reviews and retrospectives).
• Working proactively with the Product Owner to ensure that team events fulfil their purpose, and that the team delivers to commitments and maintains true product and user-focus.
• Identifying and helping to remove barriers that impact team success (i.e. velocity, user-focus, intra- and inter-dependencies).
• Using coaching and servant leadership skills to cultivate strong relationships within and across teams and encouraging a learning culture.
• Working on continuously improve teams’ ways of working and customer-focus.

✔️Furthermore, you will:

• Work closely with people leaders to ensure ongoing development and growth of our talented people and collaborate with other scrum masters in the area to organise department events.
• Continuously develop and share your professional knowledge and skills through participation in internal and external knowledge sharing activities.

✔️Qualifications:
We’re looking for a Scrum Master that is skilled in cultivating healthy, high performing teams, where empowerment and collaboration are part of everyday behaviour.

✔️You have:

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or other relevant fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in working in agile and tech-heavy software products, accompanied ideally with a relevant scrum certification.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills, used across multiple locations and cultures.
• Experience with design thinking as well as interest or experience in product strategy/opportunity mapping.
• Fluent spoken and written English

✔️You may also have:

• Experience with using Azure DevOps, GitHub and Miro.

• Experience working in the life sciences industry, or other regulated industry.

The team focuses on data acquisition and ingestion, data analysis and engineering, evangelizing the use of data and advanced analytics, and supporting data science users of the platform. Operating in a cloud-native environment, work is conducted on both AWS and Azure. Solutions are delivered using the Scrum methodology. The enterprise data lake, data mesh, and data science platform have been built and are being operated to support the vision of delivering world-class management and enablement of data.

The overarching goal is to use data to gain new understandings and insights, drive optimizations, and create true value for stakeholders and the patients served.
